Step up your safety qualifications with our intensive Confined Space Entry & Rescue Course. This advanced training is designed for individuals required to perform rescue operations in high-risk environments using Breathing Apparatus (BA).

Building on your foundational entry knowledge, this course focuses on advanced hazard recognition, the deployment of rescue equipment, and building confidence in critical extraction operations. Ensure you are fully prepared for safe entry and rescue in specified risk confined spaces.

What you'll learn

You will be able to:

Explain the legal requirements relating to confined space rescue.
Explain the different types of confined spaces and rescue challenges.
Identify the PFPE and specialized confined space rescue equipment.
Use fall protection and rescue gear when entering a confined space.
Operate gas detectors and control entry/exit during confined space rescue operations.
Explain and apply escape sets during an emergency rescue.
Safely use Breathing Apparatus (BA) equipment.
Deploy and operate advanced rescue equipment.
Carry out a live confined space rescue of a casualty using BA equipment

All training equipment is provided and included in the course fee. Successful candidates will be issued with Certificate at no additional cost upon completion of the assessment

Requirements

Participants must be at least 18 years of age and in good physical health.

All candidates are required to be free from any medical conditions or disabilities that could interfere with safe participation in training.

A self-declared statement of fitness must be completed prior to the course.

A working knowledge of English is essential. Participants must be able to understand, speak, read, and write in English to follow course materials and instructions safely and effectively.
