Fixed Ladder Inspection Course in Calgary
Please read the requirements prior to booking the course.MCL Height Safety’s Fixed Ladder Inspection Course is a one-day program designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct thorough inspections of fixed ladders. The course emphasizes compliance with relevant safety standards and provides both theoretical and practical training to ensure participants can identify potential hazards and maintain ladder safety effectively.
- Candidates will be provided with the knowledge and skill set to be able to carry out in-service inspection of fixed ladders.
- Candidates will be able understanding of the roles and responsibilities of an inspector.
- Candidates will gain awareness of the current standards for fixed ladders.
- Candidates will be provided with an understanding of the inspection criteria for the following:
- Fixing element
- Type of ladders
- Safety cage
- Safety gate/trapdoor
- Required distances.
- Candidates will be provided with an understanding of completing an inspection report and paperwork to be provided to the client after an inspection and tagging information.
